Quality, flexibility and productivity are popular words. How difficult it is to get all three in combination with each other! We at Camtec have taken it upon ourselves to develop a synergy between these three important characteristics. And how better to do this, than with our own in-house production? We don’t produce our goods just anywhere, rather, unusually conservatively for us, prefer to build upon the reliability, care and efficiency of our own in-house production plant. These aren’t empty words: Quality: ”Made in Germany" is important to us. We ensure the quality of our products through schemes such as ISO9001, UL certification and traceability. Our products are regularly supervised and audited by TÜV Sud, an independent watchdog. This gives the customer the assurance that he is receiving true quality.
Camtec produces AC/DC and DC/DC converters in a range of 7W to 2000W. Our products comply to the 19" industry standard, as well as DIN (top hat) rail mounting, open frame and cassette loading. We were the first company in the world to develop a truly remote-controlled power supply for the DIN rail. This means that we are fully able to cope with the increasing trend of industrial automation in electrical enclosures. Many of our power supply units are also available as back-up modules for fault- tolerant systems. Our product range is further complemented by useful extensions of performance electronics,such as motor soft-starters _:__________circuit breakers and redundant modules.
Through the symbiosis of performance electronics, complex filter technology and analogue technology, together with our extensive experience of digital electronics and software development, we are ideally placed to deliver complete systems to our customers. Furthermore, by running a number of electromagnetic interference (EMI) tests in our dedicated laboratory during the development phase, we are able to maximise cost efficiency and reduce your product’s Time To Market (TTM).
